History: 

Up for sale comes this spectacular 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL W113 from Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA (formely Heidelberg, Germany) in outstanding original and unmolested condition inside and out.

Before making it’s way back to its natural habitat in Germany, this car spent 2/3 of its whole life in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.

Original 1st delivery was to Heidelberg, Germany in 1967, purchased in mid 1970ies from an US Army Sergeant based in Heidelberg, Germany and brought back to his personal home as a grey market vehicle mid 1980ies to Santa Fe, NM.

The 250SL Pagoda further has benefited from an dry garage storage all its life and its Interior and genuine MB Tex interior shows extremely well.

After purchase by us and return to Germany the engine has undergone a comprehensive 3.000,00 €uro engine, transmission and brakes service  and runs incredibly well. This 250SL W113 comes with some nice vehicle history reports which we will gladly share with anyone interested. The body is in outstanding condition due to spending its entire life in beautiful and superdry New Mexico.

This car is absolutely rust free including the trunk, battery tray and floors. 

Chrome all over this Pagoda looks in good condition with minor blemishes and very light pittings here and there, which is just normal for a car in this original and authentic condition. It's so minimal that you wouldn’t notice if you were not looking for it.

All glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazings. The interior is in quite simply perfect original condition considering its age.

The Pagoda spent it’s entire life in an enclosed garage so there is no sun damage anywhere. The dash is free of any cracks, warping or discoloration.

The engine is perfectly tuned, starts right up on the first try each and every time. Idles smoothly and runs as strong as it did when it was new. This machine does not burn or leak a drop of oil. Genuine BOSCH injection pump completely NEW re-manufactured worth 3.000,00.-€ alone.

The transmission shifts seamlessly through the gears with no slipping or grinding. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train, all you hear is the music of the flat six engine. The ride in this Pagoda is great, there are no squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises - the car drives straight and true...there is nothing indicating this car is almost 60 years old!

We have conducted so many little works and upgrades on this Pagoda that its not possible to mention them all.
